The Fairfax County School Board is considering the 2019-20 calendar for Fairfax County Public Schools, which sets the first day of school as Monday, August 26, 2019, and the last day as Friday, June 12, 2020.

Fairfax County School Board Approves Changes to SR&R
The Fairfax County School Board has approved a number of changes to the Student Rights and Responsibilities regulation, effective with the 2018-19 school year, including language in the student dress code, chronic and unexcused absences, social media use, vaping, and suspension of students in grades K-3.
